There are a wide variety of shops and convenience store in and around Pafos and Limassol.
Pafos and Limassol are served by the following department stores and supermarkets: • Debenhams • Carrefour (formerly, Chris Cash and Carry) • Orphanides • Marks & Spencer • Esel & Spolp (E&S)
The German supermarket, Lidl, will be opening a chain of branches across Cyprus soon. Market whispers speculate that Ikea and Tesco could soon follow suit.

Tax free shopping in Cyprus
If you are not a resident of Cyprus or in possession of a non-Cypriot passport, then you are entitled to a VAT refund. It is advisable to shop wherever you see the following "tax free shopping" sign (and asking for your Global Refund Cheque):
It is important to note that a minimum purchase amount of £100 in a store or chain of stores is a requirement for receiving the above-mentioned cheque. When leaving Cyprus, show your purchases to the customs officials and have your Global Refund Cheques stamped. The Global Refund Cheques must be stamped within 3 months plus a month of purchases.
